madamearcati asked: Hi John, I'd really love your Ho Ho Holy bible pic and I like to use it as a christmas card, I have a friend who would be tickled pink with the Manics reference. Would you allow me to use it please? I would credit you of course! If there's any thing else you'd like to stipulate, please let me know on my ask. Thank you! :)
Please feel free. I love it when people use my stuff for things like this. Can you show me the finished product when you make it?
Here it is, my annual Best of the Year illustration for Spillers Records. This will (hopefully) be going on the wall in December (haven’t merged the layers in MS5 yet because something could come out of nowhere and surprise us all).

Mark Kozelek & The Roots - Mistress (Live on Jimmy Fallon)
I’ll have some new art to show you soon, but for now, here’s my favourite thing: Mark Kozelek performing Mistress on Fallon a little over a year ago. He has stacks of material to choose from, and indeed was there to promote his 2012 Sun Kil Moon effort Among The Leaves; but he chose to play a twenty-year-old album track with the house band, and I can’t stop watching it.
